Jamal Crawford scored 24 points while Gerald Wallace netted 23 points against his old team as the Trail Blazers dismantled the Charlotte Bobcats, 112-68.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 22 points while Marcus Camby blocked five shots for Portland, which moved to 10-1 at home this season. The Blazers shot 55 percent from the floor.

Gerald Henderson poured in 16 points while Derrick Brown finished with 12 points for the Bobcats, who shot just 32.1 percent from the field. They have lost 10 straight games.

"This one's over and we have to move on...it was a bad game for us," Bobcats head coach Paul Silas said.

A 15-2 run by the Blazers, capped by Aldridge's layup, gave the hosts a 24-9 lead with 3:10 remaining in the opening quarter.

Aldridge netted 14 points while Wallace added nine as the Blazers took a commanding 35-18 advantage into the second.

The Blazers led by as many as 28 in the second stanza before taking a 61-35 lead at halftime. Portland shot 57.1 percent and scored 24 points off of 13 Charlotte turnovers in the opening half.

Portland took a 92-48 lead into the fourth and led by as many as 48 points in the final stanza before cruising to the easy win.

The Blazers forced 18 steals and scored 33 points off 23 Charlotte turnovers.

American Idol Betting Odds: Season 6  

The online gambling websites are in the process of deciphering each American Idol contestant and his or her chances of winning Season 6 to come up with the early American Idol betting lines.

Mayweather picked to beat De La Hoya
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya and his rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. arrived at the MGM Grand here Wednesday amid the pomp and pandemonium befitting two of the biggest stars in the sport who are about to duke it out for the WBC super welterweight crown this Saturday (Sunday in Manila).

De La Hoya made his own grand entrance at the hotel lobby at around 12:30 p.m. accompanied by GBP chief executive officer Richard Schaefer and trainer Freddie Roach.

The same group of fans who trooped to see Mayweather also lingered around to get a close look at De La Hoya, who has been secretly working out at a Las Vegas gym for days after arriving from his main training camp in Puerto Rico.

The golden boy then took part in a closed-door afternoon workout with Bautista and Banal. The two, along with Aldeguer and wife Christine, as well as an HBO crew were the only ones allowed inside the gym.

De La Hoya and Mayweather take part in today's final press conference before the official weigh-in this Friday.

Ring Magazine, the acknowledged bible of boxing, reported in its June 2007 issue that 12 out of 20 boxing experts it interviewed have favored Mayweather to defeat De la Hoya, with only 8 favoring the latter.

But Filipino ring icon Manny Pacquiao said in a recent interview with The Freeman's Emmanuel Villaruel that De La Hoya will win by unanimous decision over Mayweather.
